The original brown painted finish has been distressed through generations of use to reveal the natural pine wood below adding depth of character to this dresser. Note most extensive distress/wear to painted finish is along the top (refer to photos).
Restored, the drawers function with two brass pulls on each and the case is sturdy - ready to be used and enjoyed. Top drawer has interior dividers.
Lock does not function but skeleton key still included.
All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation (see back) are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this charming chest of drawers.
