"sistema flu" is a magical lamp, and every time we find one in some corner of italy we buy it to offer it to our customers. In this case we have 2 pieces of the tallest model, 180cm of twin floor lamps that will make you feel like anakin skywalker when he decides to use the jar'kai fighting technique with 2 lightsabers. Designed in the 80s by rodolfo bonetto, designer of many iconic pieces of italian design such as the boomerang armchair for b-line and the melania chair for driade, it was awarded the compasso d'oro award 8 times. The "sistema flu" lighting system is designed to bring light to every part of the house with a complete system that has different solutions and sizes: chandelier, table lamp and floor lamp. " each of these models is perfect because this lighting project works in every size and model, combining function and playfulness. Two adjustable arms start from a black metal body with a triangular section which hold and repair the two lamps. This project was created during the 80s so it used neon lamps but we completely rewired the electrical system by a professional so as to be able to use led technology, which is more ecological and with lamps that are easier to find than neon which is now almost out of production. The two arms of these post modern floor lamps are not only adjustable up to 180 degrees but also allow you to direct the light by rotating the part containing the lamps 360 degrees. I imagine this floor lamp in a minimal home, with a few right pieces that stand out on walls with rough concrete resin finishes or in a tecno club. The floor lamps have been rewired by a professional. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
