They were Made in England, as shown in the hallmark visible in the photo, probably in the Early 20th Century. These vintage candlesticks have the shape of Corinthian columns, a theme much used during the wave of the Neoclassical style in England; the capitals is finely chiselled with the typical acanthus leaves and volutes and the stem and base are instead decorated with grooves. The candlesticks are in original condition and have not undergone restoration. A splendid patina of time and signs of use enrich its charm. See less
