Dating back to around the 70s, it is made of travertine, a material widely used at the time to create truly stylish furniture and objects. The two travertine bodies that make up this vintage box are joined by a thin golden metal structure that acts as a hinge and which makes this piece even more glamorous by creating a contrast between the smooth, golden and mirrored metal and the travertine, a raw and primitive. Three lines, two horizontal and one perpedicular, are engraved on the lid, creating a three-dimensional geometric decoration that makes the box sculptural.
