Hand crafted and hand painted glazed pottery vase by Michel Spire, France. Spire was a notable potter in the mid century, integral in developing the Mornac-sur-Soudre region as an artisanal earthenware area of prominence. Michel Spire died in April 2024. This vase is quite unique as very few of his pieces featured animals such as this owl. Signed underneath, in excellent condition, free of imperfections. This piece has an attribution mark,
