Dirk Huisken was a German painter. After graduating from high school in 1929, he studied classical philology, archaeology, theology, art history and pedagogy and entered the school service in 1938.
from 1945 to 1969 he worked as a teacher and art educator in Celle, then he was a freelance artist and had numerous exhibitions in Germany, England, France and Finland.
At the beginning of the 1960s he created some abstract paintings.
Siege's oil painting comes from his direct estate.
Marked "Huisken 60".
