C1990s; A "To the Trade," Custom American, classical traditional, rolled arm, standard size sofa in a buttercream yellow color textile … Read more C1990s; A "To the Trade," Custom American, classical traditional, rolled arm, standard size sofa in a buttercream yellow color textile upholstery, with down and feather seat back and seat cushions, which seat cushions are loose, with suspender clasps for each seat cushions, in order to maintain and retain seat positioning. Seat back rest cushions have cinched or please corners to the radius edges with offset with self-welting and a nod to the traditional look, with softened edges. The textile is a tone on tone; overall anemone floral pattern of a cotton chintz viscose, with a sateen to showcase the floral pattern, in a subtle yet sophisticated look, all with self-welted details throughout, as numerous images indicate throughout the listing. Anemone flowers conjure up the well known Lalique piece that utilizes this flower. for one of their decorative accent pieces, and thus it also is a serene interplay within the piece. In addition the base surround has vented pleating to front center, as well as to all corners, front and back with the same vented pleating, tailored and finished off with a white cotton linen underlining, covering the exposed but hidden legs. This item was wrapped with he skiing life to not ruin any f the lining or creasing, thus on on of the side view images that is essentially the reason one sees a crease, which easily may be steamed out. Th receivership unwrapped this piece as well as many to be photographed, as the owners have multiple homes throughout the country from NYC to California to Florida, whereupon all the pieces have come from and been entrusted to us to consign and sell for them. The design styles run the gamut from Danish, Mid-Cenutry, French, English and Italian, etc.
