Handsome and versatile mid-century modern walnut cocktail table, coffee table, side table, or end table in the style of Founders Furniture. It is made of solid walnut and in fabulous vintage condition. We have professionally restored the top and refreshed the base. Please see photos. Circa 1960s-1970s.
Oh my! The graining of the walnut on this table is so gorgeous! But then I am partial to walnut. How could you not be? So…that combined with this table’s versatility…you can’t go wrong. It is comprised of a solid walnut base made up of four square legs and four square stretchers with a solid walnut square top that overhangs the base equally on all sides. Simple yet stunning. Its height and size are such that it can be used as a cocktail/coffee table or end/side table. It is the perfect depth for a mid-century modern sofa and in the home where we obtained it, was used as a corner table for a matching sofa and chair and was the perfect spot for a tall mid-century modern lamp. However, it could easily have served as the coffee table. So, if you are looking for a versatile table to move from here to there…you have found it. We believe it to be in the style of Founders Furniture. Make it yours.
