* Ashevak Adla is one of the world's finest Inuit carvers. He comes from a family of stone/artists and learned the art of carving from his grandfather Aoudla Pee, who is known for capturing spiritual qualities in his bear carvings. Ashevak began carving at the age of twelve and learned his techniques from the greatest masters. He works almost exclusively with self-collected serpentine stones, which are polished to a high shine to reveal their full beauty.
