A monumental sculpture in patinated steel and cast bronze. A large swooping arm gives a fantastical feel. Individual petals of thin iron cut and welded into a wide sepal bouquet. The stamen center piece in cast bronze is an unexpected counterpart to the weathered steel body. The base is stable enough to stand alone but has holes for securing to a base or an optional plinth. Securing is recommended. In the manner of Paul Evans. Maker and age unknown.
