This Vintage Persian Tabriz Rug, hand-woven with wool on a cotton foundation in the Tabriz region of Iran, has been refinished in the U.S. With a size of 9' x 12'3", it is a testament to the rich art and culture of Persia (Iran). Rug-weaving in this region has been a part of their tradition since the Bronze Age, with the earliest surviving rugs dating back to the 16th century Safavid dynasty.
