The lidded box is hand painted in a Polynesian style fauna motif in coffee and chestnut browns, and black on a white background. The painting is exquisitely in the form of TA PA artists of Aika-Hawaii and is original and initialed by the artist, "R". The certificate of authenticity and story behind the piece are included.
