Brass shows tarnishing that could probably be polished back to original condition if desired - personally, I think the patina makes this lamp look even more dignified. Shade fabric is in very good condition with very light wear and some spots on the lower, inside edge that aren't seen unless looking inside. Interior plastic diffuser has small cracks - these are visible only when lamp is turned on and shade could be rotated to make less noticeable. Shade could also be very easily replaced (i think a black shade would be stunning!). Condition is consistent with age and history. less

Turned wood, trophy-style lamp with brass details - including two lion head knockers flanking each side of the wooden body. This vintage, mid-century lamp (probably produced in the 1950s) is the perfect, stately piece to add to any library, den, study or formal living space and can blend effortlessly with traditional or Hollywood regency styles. Includes base, harp, finial and off-white pleated shade. Has original socket, manufactured by Leviton, and non-polarized plug. Made by Knob Creek of Morganton with maker's mark label affixed to socket.
Measurements:
Lamp base with harp and finial = 34" tall x 5 1/2" wide x 5 1/2" deep
Lampshade = 9 1/2" tall x 16" diameter less
