An absolutely stunning antique Victorian library table / desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1850-1870 period.
It is of outstanding quality, standing on gorgeous barley twist legs with a finely turned stretcher base. The top is finished identically on both sides, it displays beautiful and profuse inlaid designs in various woods. There is walnut and satinwood, to name a couple.
We have had this recently re-polished and there has been some minor restoration. This is in great overall condition for its age, with some minor wear and patina remaining here and there beneath the polish.
