It is of superb quality and is a very useful item. This is beautifully constructed, there is lots of storage space in the lower drawers which have gorgeous brass handles. The upper pull down writing area is nicely fitted out, with an inset leather writing surface and additional pigeon hole storage. There are stunning burr walnut grain patterns, this stands on cabriole legs with acanthus leaf carving at the knees.

We have recently had this stripped and re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
