A lovely antique bentwood cane rocking chair, this was made in France and dates from around the 1900-1920 period.
It … more A lovely antique bentwood cane rocking chair, this was made in France and dates from around the 1900-1920 period.
It is beautifully made, the frame is a combination of turned and steam bent solid wood. The seat and back rest is caned, the back rest also has two little caned winged sides.
This is very comfortable and is in lovely condition for its age. There is only some minor surface wear here and there, with no damage to be seen.
