This significant albâtre sculpture depicts a tender moment between a young Dutch peasant couple in love. The piece, created in the early 20th century, captures the delicate and heartfelt connection between the figures, beautifully carved in albâtre.

Condition: Ancient restoration at the neck of the young man, slight damage (barely visible) to the lace on the right sleeve of the woman's dress, damaged finger on the woman's right hand, minor chips and scratches, some typical yellowing of old albâtre sculptures; needs cleaning.
