- This is an extremely rare original architectural drawing from the Georgian period gaging by the style of architecture and the … more This is an extremely rare original architectural drawing from the Georgian period gaging by the style of architecture and the watermark on the hand made laid paper dated between 1654 and 1720. The piece is actually made up of five smaller pieces of paper joined vertically as I am sure it was to costly or even impossible to get a sheet that large. There are three illegible quarter size blue stamps that most likely would have been some sort of approval I believe. There is a stylized cartouche over the the single window to the right of the central portico which I am sure is the draftsman’s signature. At some point the drawing was put in a simple early antique frame that is appropriately distressed. less
