Vintage hand carved, Ironwood sculpture of a dolphin.
Desert Ironwood is the hardest wood in the world, very difficult to carve with simple tools. It is an extremely dense wood, resembling rosewood in color and grain. Very challenging to carve with such detail. Elegant dolphin. Nice texture and wood grain. From Mexico.
Size: 10 inches H x 4.5 inches width of base.
