- A 1974 drypoint etching with pochoir titled, Le Coche et le Mouche (The Coach and the Fly), by Spanish artist … more A 1974 drypoint etching with pochoir titled, Le Coche et le Mouche (The Coach and the Fly), by Spanish artist Salvador Dali (1904-1989). Printed on Japanese nacre paper and colored by pochoir, this composition is one of twelve original engravings from the portfolio Le Bestiaire de la Fontaine. The whimsical scene depicts a pair of horses being directed by a coach to move through a deserted landscape. An observant fly buzzes overhead within a clear blue sky. Framed behind a cream mat in a wood frame, the etching is numbered and signed along the bottom edge and numbered “99/250”. less
