A Chinoiserie bachelor chest by Hooker Furniture, for their Seven Seas Collection. The banded parquetry top is intentionally distressed, with a serpentine front edge. Three serpentine drawer fronts open with metal teardrop shaped handles, and are painted with Chinoiserie scenes that match scenes painted on each side. Below is a serpentine apron framed with bracket feet. The maker's label can be seen inside the top drawer.
