Very nice and tight infact the original owner said they were hardly ever used. Stools consists of solid wood looks to be some sort of exotic wood such as rosewood but I am unaware of the species of wood. Woods condition are in beautiful vintage condition with light wear. There is some cracks to the wood on one stool to the top of the leg but I belive this is the way they were manufactured. Stools are very solid and sound and very sturdy. These stools are very rare to come by and will bring a touch of elegance your mid century modern decor and they will grace your mid century modern home.
