Original watercolor on paper in a fine museum style presentation. 1980s era.
18" wide by 15" tall, in a premium frame and mat.
Artist signed subtly in the work.
Fantastic colorways in these - gold to orange, pink to red, incredible greens, soft blues and greys. Presents to us like a walk in a field in Vermont or Maine, with stones and foliage in full summer bloom.
In keeping with Aesop's fable, Fox and Crow's Motto is "Beware of False Flattery!" So, with each listing we offer a true confession about the item...this is one of a pair of these lovely paintings we have on offer. We love Maine in the summer, and these were a nice discovery on our most recent trip. We see these as unusually well executed watercolors, with a color palate that is fantastic anywhere we model them. Simple, classic, good - perfect!
