The porcelain plates have the Sarreguemines France maker's mark, used in the early to mid-20th century. Each plate is painted with a local landmark from Caen, France: Manoir des Gens d'armes, Maison des Quatrans, la (petite) Patrie du Phénix de l’université de Caen, and Église Saint-Pierre de Caen. The painter signed them "J.LG." Would make a lovely collection on a wall.
