This heavy and substantial pair of bronze table lamps is a wonderful example of the eclectic mixing of Asian and … more This heavy and substantial pair of bronze table lamps is a wonderful example of the eclectic mixing of Asian and modern styles during the mid-20th century. The large statement lamps are unsigned but were likely cast in the 1960s during the popularity of James Mont and his Hollywood Regency aesthetic. In fact, these lamps strongly resemble a version of Mont's bronze urn lamps from that time.

The vintage table lamps feature intricately carved Chinese archaic form brass urns with dual dragon heads holding loose rings. The bronze urns are mounted on hardwood bases and topped with a wood cap. These lamp shades, harps, and bronze finials are included.

The 1960s era lamps are in very good original condition. The bronze is still shiny and shows well but has a few areas of patina/verdigris. The lamp shades have some small stains and one shade has a couple tears on the back. The shades can be used as is, with the damaged parts facing the wall, or they could be replaced for a new look.

Each lamp measures 33.5" tall, 18" wide, and 18" deep. less
