The lamp is Max Ingrand's Model 1853 for Fontana Arte in its largest version. The lampshade is a truncated cone shape made of white satin-blown glass, which diffuses light evenly and creates soft illumination. The base has a bottle shape, also made of frosted glass, which contributes to the diffusion of light and gives a harmonious and balanced appearance to the lamp. The combination of frosted glass for the shade and base ensures not only visual elegance but also optimal light diffusion, reducing harsh shadows and creating a welcoming environment. The simple, clean form of the Model 1853 is a classic example of Max Ingrand's modernist design, which stands out for its understated sophistication. The larger version of the 1853 lamp usually reaches a height of about 78 cm, making it a significant presence in any room.
