Refined pair of Murano wall sconces by Archimede Seguso, designed and made in the 1940s. A gilded bronze casting houses magnificent blown glass leaves and twisted stem, a full 39cm high. Each of these leaves hides a light bulb that is illuminated by them, offering a magical effect. These sconces can be matched with a chandelier with the same leaves and decorations on the frame from the same room in the house where the set was purchased. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
