In this listing you will find a Modernist Flip Top Table "Jean" designed by Eileen Gray for her architecture project Villa E-1027, also known and House by the Sea. It was originally designed in 1929, while its new era of manufacturing started when ClassiCon bought the rights for its production in the early 1990s. What makes design of this table so great is that "Jean" doubles its size with a twist of the hand. The main features of the fable are minimalist design and high functionality. Made in Germany in 1992. Good vintage condition with small signs of time and use, such as fading spots on the top and small scratches. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
