About the Artist
Egyptian-born artist and designer, Isaac Manevitz, is known for his high-end
jewelry and unique eye for shape. For nearly 30 years, Manevitz’s company
Ben-Amun, located in New York’s Fashion District, has been a go-to for fashion
elite and luxury commercial collaborations. With a Fine Art degree in Sculpture
from Brooklyn College, Manevitz took his skill for design and applied it to his fine
art, creating a growing collection of sculptures with influences drawn from his
Middle Eastern background, family life, relationship to nature, symmetry and
geometry.
Artist Statement
My work is a celebration of harmony in nature. A driving force behind my
sculptural works rests on a fascination with shapes and how the negative and
positive space of a geometrical composition can reflect both the real and the
imaginary. I find this inspiration not only in material, but in humanity alike. In
creating what could be considered a sculptural collage, I explore my natural
inclination to see how various elements can somehow live and be beautiful
together... and be different at the same time.
Working with wood enables me to dive into an organic artistic process, in more
than one way. Given structure or softness, I’ve found this material to best
create perfection in symmetry. Symmetry to me is not only beauty, but peace. I
want the viewers of my work to feel that. Many of my sculptures are also
created with found objects, further translating my intentions of exploring how
everything– material, nature, people– fit together seamlessly.
For more than 30 years, I’ve worked as a jewelry designer, where fashion,
history and a keen eye for design has taken precedence. Nevertheless, the
influence of the female form, of grace and of personal perspective has informed
my fine art and has continued this dialogue between these two sides of my
curiosity, that once again, fit seamlessly together.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations
- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.
- Please notify us within 24 hours of purchase if you would like to cancel an order, as prompt cancellation will reduce the likelihood that you will incur return shipping charges.

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

- Chairish In-Home Delivery
