This set of 4 model no. 18, also called bistro chairs, designed by Thonet, was one of Thonet's most famous chairs, next to chair no. 14. They have a half inner arc in the backrest. These chairs were designed by the Austrian designer Josef Hoffmann, probably around 1900. These models are still produced, but now as no. 218. Due to their timeless design and appearance, they can easily be placed in almost any interior style. Considering their age, they have normal signs of wear and, as can be seen in the photos, some have had repairs that contribute to the beautiful character that these chairs have acquired.
