Vintage; C.1993-1997, Century Furniture Company, "Caperana," queen size platform bed with an upholstered scalloped headboard, with side arms also upholstered, … more Vintage; C.1993-1997, Century Furniture Company, "Caperana," queen size platform bed with an upholstered scalloped headboard, with side arms also upholstered, with custom up-charged spec'd finish of a quasi, blue gray finish called, "french blue." This solid wood bed with English dovetail joints and the Caperana Collection was inspired by a found sofa within an Italian Palazzo. Depending upon the given natural and artificial light, it either takes on a more soft blue gray, and other times a softer gray, along with the textural, and nuanced pickled finish according this lovely and stately transitional bed. Initially this bed and collection was inspired by a sofa which was found in an Italian Palazzo. It has a contemporary, transitional look, with nuanced Mediterranean/Italian nuances within this dichotomy, yet may also be inclusive of a Coastal, California and/or Cape, Northeastern style with those aforementioned classical elements, of a contemporary French or Italian look, inclusive and added design with the scalloped headboard details and sidearms, upholstered headboard. Also there are cross bar wood stretchers, in an accordion open and extend for the box spring and mattress, which goes along with this bed, original to the bed, but not shown. We apologize as the receivership co./movers, had already taken this away, thus we were uninformed after the fact via the Designer, of it's inclusiveness, after we had already photographed the piece, unbeknownst to us. The textile is a celadon or light cool blue coloration. along with light cream color hues, of an overall paisley like look, in a cotton, viscose, rayon and silk combination, with double self-welted details throughout, as close up images indicate. This queen size of this model is NO LONGER available, "ONLY," available in King size. The Model of he collection is # 749, but thereafter is accorded another 3-digit numbering system for the collection, this being allocation of size of bed, or other case pieces.
