Old chalice - a handcrafted unique piece from church inventory.
Beautifully detailed work in a solid design (weighs 2 kg)
Suitable as a very exclusive bird bath or flower vase. The shell is waterproof. The rough inside of the shell shape is the imprint of sand, which was previously used as filling material during casting. Therefore there was most likely a fine copper/brass bowl as an insert at the top.
