In sterling silver.
Bezel-set with two pink tourmaline gemstones, a checkerboard rondel of mother-of-pearl & black lacquer, and a triangular piece of black lucite.
Cohen is a graduate of Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, one of many of the great jewelry maker's to come through that school. Her work is held in numerous public & private collections.
With her etched signature and date '1986' to the reverse.
Simply a wonderful Modernist brooch!
