From the historical Walton MacConnell Estate in La Jolla, California- A vintage chinoiserie tilt top tray table featuring intricately hand painted scenes in a copper hued gold against a contrasting black background with a subtle crackled texture. The tray has rounded corners and a gold trim border around the edges and surmounts two legs ending in elongated, arched feet that are joined by a stretcher. A subdued gold line is painted along all of the base supports, which adds an elegant, yet understated detail. The decorative wooden diamond framed square on the stretcher, pivots to support the tray when opened. In addition to being a wonderful accent piece, the table is highly functional, light weight, yet sturdy and can be enjoyed aesthetically when open or closed- Great for smaller rooms!
