This Really is a Great Looking & Unusual Vintage American Cast Iron Doorstop. Circa Approx 1930s. It is Rendered in a Classic Posed Standing Rooster Design. It has a S ? Maker Mark ? In the Back Casting that I Could Not Identify and it Also has a Number 3. It Most Likely Would have Been Cast at one of the Smaller - Lesser Known American Foundries. It Still Retains its All Original Paint Brush Hand Oil Painted Features. The Paint is Naturally Age and Exposure Weathered - Light Rust Stains Etc Giving it an Authentic & Unique Look. It has No Damage or Repairs to the Casting and Displays Very Nicely.
It Measures Overall 8 1/4 inches Tall x 7 1/2 inches Long x 1 1/2 inches Wide - Deep at Base.
