Sumter Cabinet Company made high quality furniture which started in Sumter, S.C. from late 19th c. until the company was sold n 1999 . They kept the company name, Sumter Cabinet Company and Furniture until 2006 when they ended production in their South Carolina furniture plant.

Sumter Cabinet Company built products with 28 step finishing process which is second to none and is one more reason why Sumter’s quality insures their products of being prized heirlooms for years! The solid ends or sides on all Sumter Cabinet Company’s case pieces run from the top of the case all the way down to the floor for added strength and durability. Sumter Cabinet Company’s interlocking wood-on-wood drawer guide is the preferred system - not metal to rust nor plastic to break or bind. Mirrors and other items with machine mitered corners incorporate rigid wood dowels for strength and permanent joinery.
