This clock was made in the George III style in … more This listing is for an 18th Century English grandfather clock.
This clock was made in the George III style in Stirling, Scotland by John Bayne.
Bayne was a clockmaker that operated from 1777-1790.
The case was made from mahogany wood and has nice carved and inlaid detailing.
The casing is complimented by an engraved silver plated dial.
This clock has an 8 day time and (bell) strike movement
The clock measures:
83.5" H x 17.5" W x 9.5" D inches
The pendulum and weights are included.
The movement was last serviced in 2022.
We currently have it running. It has a nice bell chime.
