Bleached neoclassical chest of drawers hand-made in Italy using cherry as the primary and walnut burl for decoration. The commode features three overlay drawers, all showing beautiful hand-made dovetail joints and decorated with walnut crossbanded veneer framing walnut burl veneer. The sides are made of flat panels, and the top features several boards with ogee edge nailed to the case with square nails. The chest sits on its original long, tapered legs, however, the hardware has been replaced.
This is a very elegant chest with simple, straight lines and delicate, yet substantial, decoration. The bleached wood shows the beautiful patterns of the natural grain of the wood. The commode will look great with both. modern, contemporary as well as antique furniture and will provide beautiful, light decoration to any room. less
