A very beautiful set of books with gold detailing. They would be stunning styled on a bookshelf.
John L. Stoddard's Lectures is a collection of the travel writings of John Lawson Stoddard, an American traveler, writer, and lecturer. His lectures were published as a book set with ten volumes from 1897 to 1898, and five supplements in 1901. The books include many photographs taken by Stoddard.
This set includes all 15 volumes of the Stoddard's Lectures from the 1925 (MCMXXV) "Revised Edition" published by Geo. L Shuman & Co. (Chicago & Boston). They are Red cloth with gilt and blind-stamping. Illustrated with black and white photographs.
