19th century pair of Royal Dux large figurines numbered 443 and number 444 both of these are in original unaltered condition and our damage free. Both figurines stand over 2 feet tall and are beautifully detailed. These are a very rare find. They’ve been auctioned off before in Europe for well over $2000 once in 1988 and also once in June of 2024.
They depict a man carrying a large water jug on his back and a woman carrying three fish. The detail on both of these is truly amazing and the fact that they survived unharmed for more than 150 years is also incredible. They were auctioned off in Europe last month the hammer price was 2100 American dollars with a 35% buyers premium bringing the total cost to purchase these at Auction to a whopping $2920. The man carrying the gallbladder containing water measures just a hair under 25 inches and the woman bringing home her three fish measures a full 2 foot tall.! the base has a diameter of 8 1/2 inches.

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
