This David Hockney rare vintage 1996 Metropolitan Museum of Art custom framed lithograph print " Mount Fuji and Flowers " 1972, is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The lithograph print is published by The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York in an unnumbered limited edition with the authorized permission copyright David Hockney, printed in The United States in 1996. It features an artwork image originally created by Hockney in 1972 titled " Mount Fuji and Flowers ".
David Hockney ( B. 1937 ) is an English painter, draftsman, printmaker, stage designer, and photographer. He is an important contributor to The Pop Art Movement of the 1960's. He is considered one of the most influential British artists of The Twentieth Century. His artworks have commanded greater popular acclaim than any other Contemporary British artist. The Pop Art Expressionist artworks have been the subject of more than 400 solo exhibitions. Art works by Hockney are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.
The rare out of print framed museum lithograph print measures 12 1/4" W X 15 1/2" H X 1" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern royal sky blue matte eggshell finish wood frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse bak side for easy wall installation.
It is in excellent " like new " condition. The print is in excellent " like new " very clean condition with very light signs of handling. It is brand newly custom framed and has never been displayed.
