Senneh rugs are well known, and prized pieces due to their extremely fine and durable quality. The rugs are woven in single weft which helps preserve the rug's fine quality; this rug is about 170 years old, yet it is still in near perfect condition. Additionally the rug has a silk foundation which also adds to its unbelievable durability. Senneh rug's are also known for being one of the thinnest rugs out there, which is definitely present for this rug as well. Lastly another common feature with these rugs is the small and precise design throughout the carpet. less
