Sublime orangerie or garden console table featuring a French limestone top supported by a silvered iron base. Created by Formations Melrose Avenue Hollywood, California for a grand estate in Beverly Hills. The trestle iron base is constructed from flat bars with a reeded design. The iron has an intentionally distressed patina in aged silver. Each leg has a neoclassical style scrolled x form conjoined by a stretcher. The legs are mounted to limestone plinths. The smooth slab top is inset into the frame and has a fine honed finish. The grand table has a dramatic profile made on a large scale. Very heavy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship.
