Hardware … Read more Vintage, possibly antique natural turbo shell hinge-lidded trinket box and pendant. Could be stash, snuff, pill or trinket box. Hardware made of silver tone metal with decorative and detailed cone pointed bale. Shell opening completely closed with same metal plate. Lid is made of mother of pearl inlay with simple, tightly locking mechanism. Natural shell bodies retain their unique opalescence with white overtone and blue, pink, and green undertones. Near bottom openings have pretty green stripe pattern. Due to handmade nature of these curious pieces glue is visible. This curious conversation piece is easily incorporated into steampunk, industrial, nautical, Victorian themes. See less
