These cabinets were used in kitchens throughout eastern Europe, for food storage. It is in good condition for its age and has recently been waxed and buffed... the pine glows! The cabinet offers ample storage with four deep drawers that run vertically down the left hand side and a cupboard, with the door and original metal vent, on the right. The door swings easily on the original external hinges, meaning it will open fully - allowing easy access to the cupboard interior with two shelves. The shelved storage areas are 20 inches wide x 11 inches deep.
The door closes firmly and locks with an old key. The astragal of the door overlaps the right edge of the four doors, which locks access to the entire cabinet. Collected in the Czech Republic.
