Circa 1860-80 set of 12 Georgian style dining chairs, English. 10 sides & 2 arms. Georgian Revival period of excellent quality. Shield backs with Prince of Wales plume, rosette & swag carved backsplats. The chairs have serpentine seats & fine old leather. Note the molded square tapered legs to short spade feet, the molding echoing the arms & backs. Superb carving & craftsmanship. Various minor losses due to use & wear. Condition commensurate with age & use.
