Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, the fabric is in useable but faded condition, however, will eventually need reupholstered and it has been priced accordingly. We stitched up and glued a couple places in the fabric on each upper corner of back. Please see photos, zoom in for details, and see long description as they are part of the condition report. And though we adore the charming patchwork fabric, eventually it will need reupholstered BUT we always welcome the IMAGINATION and VERSATILITY that accompanies new fabric options!! Right now, it has a little Cottagecore flair but change the fabric… change the whole STYLE and look of the sofa! Endless options!! How fun is that?? The SEVEN square DOWN FILLED pillows create the back of the sofa and IT. IS. COMFORTABLE!!! It will be a magnificent addition to your living room in front of your coffee table, in the study flanking the fireplace, in a corner of your bedroom. or floating in the family room upon a wonderful area rug. With this sofa, you definitely do not have to sacrifice style for comfort. This vintage 1970 -1980’s Modern Henredon sofa checks ALL the boxes! Don’t let this one get away!!

Henredon was founded in 1945 by four Drexel Heritage executives; T. Henry Wilson, Ralph Edwards, Donnell VanOppen, and Sterling Collet. The name Henredon is a combination of their names. These four men were determined to build furniture of custom quality and their original offering was only three chests. It has since blossomed into hundreds of designs still in keeping with their goal. Through the years they have engaged well-known designers to create their unique and fine furniture.
