Description: Very rare antique Victorian silver cigarette case in the Aesthetic Movement style by Sampson Morgan & Co. dated 1882. The … more Very rare antique Victorian silver cigarette case in the Aesthetic Movement style by Sampson Morgan & Co. dated 1882. The case is decorated with circular and foliate pattern in the Aesthetic Movement style with oriental influence. Beautifully curved on the back with a plain cartouche in the centre. The edge of the cigarette case is fully hallmarked for London 1882 with the makers stamp for the renowned and highly collected silversmiths: Sampson Morgan & Co. The gilt interior is also fully hallmarked.

The cigarette case measures approx 6.5 cm (weight) by 9 cm (height), weight of approx 61 grams
