Description: A 18th century French provincial Louis XIV buffet à deux corps. Probably from Alsace. Made of solid oak with new … more A 18th century French provincial Louis XIV buffet à deux corps. Probably from Alsace. Made of solid oak with new patina finish.

Two-part, laterally coffered oak body with bevelled pilaster strips and 4 doors made in frame- and panell- construction on large external brass fittings.

Two-door base cabinet, on stud feet at the back and pressed ball feet at the front, with a slightly protruding moulded top panel. Slightly recessed top with cranked cornice and arched pediment at the corners and matching doors.

Punched brass fittings.

Inside fitted with a shelf level in the lower section and 3 poplar shelves in the upper section.
