In the interest of celebrating Italian heritage of glassblowing, we have designed this series of vases that reference historic Murano … more In the interest of celebrating Italian heritage of glassblowing, we have designed this series of vases that reference historic Murano glass. In order to have as direct a connection to these roots as possible, we have used antique Venetian glassblowing tools to craft these vases. Most notably, the texture on this vase has been created using an antique bronze optic mold by Archangeli Murano, a maker of fine glassblowing molds. The vessel shape is then articulated with antique Venetian hand tools from the island of Murano in a classic style of decorative, yet functional floral vase.
